Founder - Nancy Sliwa
As of June 2009, Nancy has had her pilot rating for twenty years. (Twenty years! Where does the time go?) Flying has been her go-to activity for fun (and a financial black hole) since then, following her career through robotics and artificial intelligence (NASA), consulting (ERAU), Internet entrepreneurship (WebAdept), network marketing (NIkken), project management (BellSouth), and as writer wannabe and homemaker. Now, like the old joke, she is out to make a small fortune in the aviation business.
As a Ninety-Nine, Nancy has accumulated over 1000 hours of flight time, an IFR ticket and a soaring rating, as well as incredible friends and flying experiences, but her greatest resources are her CFI (and CEO) husband Steve and artist daughter Tabitha. Thanks to these two, Nancy recently acquired both a new son-in-law (Rich) and a Cirrus SR22 G3 Turbo Perspective (N355T). She'd be hard pressed to say which one is more adorable.
Now living in the most beautiful place on earth (the Columbia Gorge Scenic Area in the Pacific Northwest), Nancy pursues her interest in flying and providing way-cool products for the woman pilot and aviation enthusiast, between duties as unpaid staff to their two dogs and cat. She also spends time on house remodeling projects, volunteers at her church, and is an avid reader.
